The Heritage Ball – a gala put on by the Heritage Foundation in Franklin, Tennessee – has been held every single year since 1972, and we were again proud to part of this year’s event. The grand gala took place at the historic Eastern Flank Battlefield Park.

Our favorite classic Southern pieces were in attendance at this lovely Tennessee gala. Guests entered on a custom cream carpet, flanked by boxwood walls.  Chandeliers hung from the ceiling, Harlin Chairs looked very much at home, and gold and silver place settings dotted the tablescapes. The combination gave off a formal and approachable Southern look. Abby Flatware sat next to Glass Chargers with Gold Rims, and our dainty Hamlet China showed up for dessert. The Harpeth Bar fit perfectly amongst these elegant Southern pieces, and our Plank Wood Dance Floor was the perfect fit for our grand stage. We also introduced our new portable stages, creating vignettes for music and entertaining. It certainly was a night of dancing, amazing live music, and celebration!

City Winery in Nashville, TN is a wedding & event venue offering downtown vibes, urban feels, and a completely blank canvas to create exactly the theme you’re wanting for your next event. Graduation party season is upon us! It’s sentimental, nostalgic, and cheerful… all at once. As you get ready to plan a graduation party for your senior, there’s a lot to consider. Will it be outside? How many people will you invite? What should you serve? Where will the guests sit? Southern Events has plenty of in-stock graduation party rentals to allow you to create a memorable and fun event for your grad.

Set the Scene

First, let’s set the scene. If your graduation party is going to be outside, consider one of our Tent Pop-Up Packages. You can coordinate the linens that come with your package to match school colors for added festiveness! The Sutton Collection or Barnwood Furniture and our Hammered Rectangle Fire Pit will be the perfect additions for added warmth and comfort. Food and Such

Outside Events

If you’re looking for catering equipment for an outside event, there are so many things to consider. Inclement weather – will it rain, be super hot, super sunny? Here at Southern Events, we love a modern tablescape! While modern can sometimes mean stark or cold, your table design can have a modern feel and still be elegant and timeless.  With earthy elements, luxe fabrics, clean lines, and ghost chairs, we created three modern Southern tablescapes to inspire you.

#1 Modern Luxe Tablescape

Moody and glam, our modern luxe style features our Black Dupioni Linen, Carrera Marble Dinner Plates, Cybil Glassware, Sofia Flatware and Glass Chargers with Gold Rim. #3 Modern Tuscan Southern Tablescape

Give your event a modern Tuscan feel! With patterned dinnerware, aqua linens and an oversized, this modern southern tablescape just needs wine! Our Nashville event rentals were on display at our most recent styled shoot at Nashville’s White Dove Barn, where we dreamed up a boho fall wedding design with some amazing vendor friends!

The scene was set perfectly for our Fall-inspired boho wedding style shoot with Harlin Dining Chairs bringing natural wood to a beautiful white canvas. Our Bennett Leather Sofa was paired with the London Love Seat and Winstead Grey Tufted Bench for an impeccably chic style.

The elegant boho fall wedding tablescape started with charcoal gray linens, where Pure Glassware added striking cleaning lines next to the whimsical centerpiece by the amazing Kennedy Occasions and Feather and Oak Tennessee. Peachy-taupe taper candles from Creative Candles added a bit of romance, while our Carerra Marble Dinner Plates and gold Austin Flatware pulled the gold and gray accents together for a perfect design.
