Sometimes less is more! For this natural table design, fresh citrus and fruit was the star of the show. Atop Heritage Ivory Linens, we placed our simple Artisan China and Wood Round Charger, complemented by Brushed Copper Flatware. The centerpieces consisted of fresh greenery and citrus, which were perfect for the lush lawn setting. To tie some greenery into the tablescape, we opted for our favorite fern velvet napkins. This design is ideal for a bright mid-morning brunch or afternoon cocktail hour!

Rustic Farm-to-Table

When you want a casual yet put-together look, opt for a farm-to-table design. This simple tablescape features our Artisan China, Sophia Flatware, and Madison Glassware. Despite the minimal serving ware and linens, what truly makes this layout is the table and chairs. Take our Cross-back chairs, which are plain yet oh so elegant. For a pop of color, you might consider brightly-colored napkins or a table runner. Perhaps in our Cornsilk Poly or Peaches n’ Cream Poly.

Black and gold are a classic pairing and surefire way to make a statement. This luxe and bold backyard alfresco dining table showcase a mix of moody hues, including black, gold, and a variety of red shades. Classic Cookout

There is something so charming about gingham, and this backyard cookout-inspired table just does it for us. It was created using our Onyx China and silver Sophia Flatware. The true black plates are an easy way to bring the fun gingham tablecloth back down to earth. Yet super cute coke bottle centerpieces and our contemporary Davis Glassware keep the overall vibe light. For a look that is slightly more toned down, switch out this tablecloth for a solid or neutral color.

Luxe But Sustainable

Luxe events aren’t going anywhere but we’re seeing an increased interest in sustainability. There are multiple ways to host a sustainable event via rentals. The first is reusable serving ware, including china, flatware, glassware, and linens. Rentals are an easy and beautiful way to reduce the waste produced by your event.

In terms of styling, expect lots of lush plants & greenery. Potted plants are especially beautiful and perfect for aisle decor and table centerpieces.  The same goes for dried plants, which lend lots of texture. Pampas grass in particular is trending, as it easily adds volume and height. Expect to see an increasing amount of dried flower bouquets and arrangements.

All Out Events

Go big or go home right? One 2021 trend is events that are memorable, not necessarily in size but in the details. Diva Boho-themed events are a great example. Think of bold & intricate geometric patterns, and voluminous flowers or other organic arrangements. Metallics are also here to stay, as they are a quick way to add some sparkle and shine to an event. At this type of event, you can tell that every thoughtful detail was well planned and executed.

A Focus on Sentimentality

People are gravitating towards heirlooms and the texture of various things that draw them to the past – we expect this event trend to only get bigger in 2021. Not necessarily a boho theme, but colors and textures that incite a sense of nostalgia. So sustainable handmade pieces lend texture, such as clay, jute, and wicker decor. This trend also applies to attire, in the form of heirloom jewelry, clothing, and accessories. For weddings, think dresses with intricate old-school embroidery in an ivory or cream color. If your Quince will include music, then you’ll definitely need staging. It is the perfect way to make a live band, or another form of entertainment, front and center. If you’re looking for a bright and chic look for your upcoming wedding, look no further! Earlier this year our team at Southern Events collaborated with other local vendors for a fresh and fun desert bloom themed style shoot at 14Tenn in Nashville, Tennessee. Enjoy the breathtaking image by Gray Kammera Photography as we show off some of our featured rentals!

For the intimate indoor reception, we opted to use our modern Acrylic Ghost Armless Chairs. Meanwhile, our Davis Glass Cylinders with white pillar candles lined the aisle way, extending the airy look and creating a warm ambiance. Of course, the floral backdrop created by SS T Villager Designs stole the show! Their bright whimsical florals took this reception set up to another level, with lush greenery and bold colors.

Shifting to the reception, we featured more of our popular acrylic furniture. This time our Acrylic Carrigan Side Chair. A mix of contemporary and industrial/rustic furniture makes this set-up stylish yet inviting.

On the long dinner tables, we created place settings using our Coronado China, Athena China, Faux Wood Round Chargers, and Austin Flatware. Our Fuchsia Etched Velvet Napkins brought a POP of color that complimented the bright floral centerpieces. For drinks, we selected our classically elegant Cybil Glassware.

When styling the bride and groom’s table, we always like a little extra drama. The bold florals dripped all the way to the floor where they met our Gold Metal Intersect Cube and Davis Glass Cylinders, for a warm and luxe look.

In addition to long dinner tables, we also used round tables. For these, we selected our stunning Fuchsia Etched Velvet Linens. A mix of our acrylic chairs were featured, for that popular mix and match vibe.

While the place setting were identical to those on the long dinner tables, we switched out the napkins. Our London Fog Etched Velvet Napkins provided a much-needed neutral contrast to the otherwise bold table. Our favorite element? The super cute potted plant wedding favors/place settings!

Lounge areas are a must-have for any wedding with a cocktail hour. This cozy lounge was created using our Nickel Grey Bench, Henley Grey Velvet Tufted Sofa, and Acrylic Fantasma Side Chairs.  Cheval Gold Miror Side Tables were decorated with lush plants for that chic desert vibe. Nearby, bistro tables were set up with our Ocean Blue Velvet Linens.
