Barn weddings have become a staple of Southern living and the recent open house at Allenbrooke Farms in Spring Hill, Tennessee gave us a blank canvas to reimagine rustic farm weddings. The working organic farm features a new climate control 5800 square feet barn, custom built to host the perfect elegant farm wedding.

The venue includes its own farm tables and cross-back chairs and we love how dark wood of these pieces contrasted with the lighter wood of the barn, creating a beautiful space for the four different place settings we created with their team. Our first tablescape was a classic and understated rustic look featuring our Wood Round Charger, Alabaster Earthen China, and Lincoln Flatware for a simple place setting. A gold tablescape took advantage of our most popular rentals, combining our Gold Round Lacquer Charger and Gold Austin Flatware with varied Gold Heirloom China for a rich vintage feel. A more modern place setting saw our Gold Austin Flatware next to the Glass Belmont Charger with Beaded Edge. When topped with Alabaster Earthen China and Heritage Gray Napkin, this look was a preppier take on the rustic setting. The final tablescape was a dramatic burst of gold and pink with rich blooms from The Enchanted Florist. A Gold Charger was topped with our Alabaster Earthen China and our new Kate Salad Dessert Plate in gold polka dots. Our Gold Metal Intersect Cube completed the look as the centerpiece, styled perfectly to add a little glam to this beautiful barn.  Each look was stunning in its own right and showed off the versatility of the venue. We look forward to the many events they will host!

Our Harlin Dining Chair is an all-wood chair featuring a natural finish, molded legs and picture window back.  Brand new to the Nashville market, this chair has universal appeal.  We see it working well at an outdoor Southern wedding, a boho-inspired rehearsal dinner or a corporate gala looking to embrace the minimalism trend – so many possibilities!

Sophia Flatware

With its organic shape, our Sophia Flatware is a silver flatware set that includes a salad fork, dinner knife, soup spoon, dinner fork and teaspoon (as shown below).  We love this with our Earthern China and Round White China as part of a minimalistic tablescape or pair it with our Darcy or Heirloom China to embrace the feminine detailing.

Gold Accent Plates

Meet Blair, Kate & Vera! Available in three patterns, our Gold Accent Plates feature metallic gold detailing and measure 8″.  We love mixing these with our Darcy and Earthen China as well as using them for wedding cake service or on a dessert bar.

Available in a brushed gold or brushed silver finish, measuring 18 or 22″ diameter and 4” height

CeCe Silver Side Table

The high-gloss finish of our CeCe Silver side table as well as her pedestal shape makes this table a natural pair to our Jackson Silver Bistro Table. It pairs well with our Mercer Furniture Collection as part of an event lounge. Measures  23” height and 18” in diameter.

Bennett Sofa

A new addition to our Vintage Prop Shoppe, our Bennett Sofa is a mahogany leather sofa with rolled arms, nailhead detailing and tufted back.  The low profile and masculine styling, makes this sofa ideal for corporate cocktail parties, photo shoots or downtown weddings.

Pure Glassware

Introducing our new Pure Glassware collection! This Riedel-inspired glassware in available in a white wine glass, red wine glass and water glass.

We are always so excited to be a part of A Very Marry Occasion, where Nashville’s top wedding vendors come together for a truly stunning style showcase. The theme was Organic Luxe and CJ’s Off the Square was the perfect venue – the outdoor garden space lends itself perfectly to being both organic and luxe with ease! Here’s how we made it all happen:

Cross-back Chairs in natural wood were paired with the Grayson Farm Tables for a stunning dining design. To add more luxe, our Hob Nob Glassware collection was on full display with both the water goblet and the wine glass giving a vintage vibe without being too whimsical. All this combined with our Abby Fine Silver flatware and a gorgeous Mediterranean Satin Linen made for a stunning styled tablescape, only to be enhanced even more by the stunning floral centerpieces by Enchanted Florist – swoon!

To mix up the seating arrangements, our 65″ Round Farm Table was incorporated into the floor plan, opposite of the sweetheart table. Speaking of the sweetheart table, a mini White-Wash Farm Table was used with our Tessa Tufted Loveseat – the perfect way for a bride and groom to enjoy their first married meal together. Our feminine Darcy Bone China next to the Hob Knob glassware and Gatsby Champagne Coupe were the perfect touches to the tablescape, adding more elegance to an already luxe design.

In the garden area, we incorporated the Farm Style Bistro Tables for easy but stylish mingling. We love when couples opt to keep the decor all in the family – the various farm style tables are beautiful together, yet purposefully unique enough to not look too uniform.

Also in the garden, we made sure to provide comfortable outdoor seating by bringing in our Sutton Furniture Collection. The Mediterranean color was the perfect way to tie in those blue linens on the dining table, keeping every part of the decor and theme beautifully cohesive. The Enchanted Florist helped elevate our rentals again by placing thoughtful low arrangements on the furniture, bringing out the colors of the gorgeous garden and the Organic Luxe theme itself.

In August Southern Events had the pleasure of contributing to the 16th Annual Jokers & Jackpots Gala, a fundraiser to benefit BRIDGES, the only domestic violence shelter in Williamson County. For a good cause and a lot of fun, we decked out the gala in a Roaring 20’s theme this year.  This is a great theme for a fundraiser, creating an upscale look that guests can participate in by dressing the part.
