Spring weddings have a way of capturing the essence of renewal and beauty, and this styled shoot at Cedarmont Farms does just that. With a soft and sophisticated peach and blue wedding scheme, it exudes lightness and elegance. Set against a rural farm in Franklin, Tennessee, this event combines modern rustic charm with romantic details. Whether you’re dreaming of a modern barn wedding or looking for a punchy spring color scheme, this wedding is full of ideas you’ll want to steal for your own big day.

A Floral-Filled Vow Exchange

The ceremony was set in a picturesque outdoor location next to the reception barn, with white resin folding chairs that popped against the manicured lawn. Tall white pillars adorned with lush peachy pink and blue florals created a romantic focal point for the couple as they exchanged vows. This thoughtful design embraced the light and airy essence of spring while standing out against the lush outdoor setting!

Sophistication with a Side of Relaxation

The cocktail hour took place on the patio and cocktail lawn, where guests mingled while enjoying beautiful views of the farm. Palmer bistro tables, dressed in neutral Havana Ecru linens, were paired with rattan-backed Palmer barstools for a casual yet sophisticated vibe. The light wood Charlotte Sofa and accent tables completed the setup, inviting guests to relax, sip, and enjoy the serene surroundings before heading inside to the reception.

Sip in Style

The Alice Bar stood as an elegant centerpiece at the reception, offering a modern yet timeless touch with its light wood frame and white geometric front face. Guests sipped signature cocktails served in Gatsby Coupe Glasses and Monaco Rocks Glasses, adding a touch of glamour to the evening. With its seamless integration into the venue’s aesthetic, this wedding bar was more than a functional space—it became part of the visual charm of the day.

Rustic Meets Refined Elegance

Inside the modern, whitewashed barn, two stunning tablescapes showcased the perfect blend of rustic charm and sophisticated elegance. The farm tables paired with Antique White Bentwood Chairs exuded warmth and grace. While round tables draped in crisp white linens added a touch of classic elegance. Guests dined on Darcy Bone China, vintage-inspired Abby Flatware, and Amalia Blue Water Goblets. While whimsical peach and blue spring wedding centerpieces brought the color palette to life. Setting the stage for an unforgettable celebration.

Southern Style: Intimate Wedding Inspiration

Events and Style Shoots, Nashville Venues, Southern Events Products, Trends and Inspiration

A smaller wedding does not mean smaller style! To help inspire you, we’re sharing a handful of ways that you can pull off a small, yet elegant intimate wedding, featuring wedding design ideas from a recent styled shoot at the bright and airy boutique Noelle Hotel in Nashville.

Up Close and Personal

By far the most rewarding aspect of hosting an intimate wedding is that you can be truly yourself, as you will be most comfortable amongst the special few whom you invited. With less people around, your guests will also feel more connected to you, as they witness this milestone in your lives and share in your emotions. As shown with our Harlin Chairs, create a seating area that allows everyone to see, hear and be a part of the intimate ceremony.

Elegant Place Settings

When it comes to planning a small wedding, you can still make a statement! Take the elegant table setting we created, which includes our Gold Austin Flatware, Glass Mosaic China, Glass Charger with Gold Rim, and White Round China. It absolutely POPs on the rich Blue Velvet Linens! We were also careful in our choice of Cybil Glassware which, while slightly more whimsical, still fits into the overall aesthetic.

Make the Most of Your Venue

Often times, couples who host an intimate wedding will utilize the same space for both their ceremony and reception. This will save you the effort and cost of a secondary event space, and allow you to make the most of the venue you truly love. Take this into consideration when researching potential venues, as a large enough area can accommodate both the weddings ceremony seating and dinner tables. If everything can be set up from the get-go, there will be less hustle and bustle to rearrange furniture when it comes time to eat.

Splurge on Special Touches

One benefit of opting for a smaller-scale affair is that you will have the budget to splurge on items or elements that you love, like our comfy and downright beautiful Tabby Tufted Grey Linen Loveseat. These special touches can be an item that sparks joy for you or is simply more convenient. Take the opportunity to treat yourself and your loved ones to a special space.

Harlindale Farm hits different in the evening. 🌿

Loved being part of the @friendsoffranklinparks event — barn setting, bright linens, vintage-inspired blue glassware, and the kind of crowd that genuinely cares about this place. Franklin does community well!

Cocktail hour deserves a proper glass. 🍋

The right glassware changes how a drink feels in your hand — and how it looks on the table. These citrus-forward sips hit different when they're served right.

Instead of treating it as just another rental, more events are using the bar as a way to tie everything together. From custom fronts to layered backdrops and thoughtful styling, it’s a chance to build something that feels intentional and connected to the rest of the space. 🍸

Wondering how to make your bar feel like part of the design, we’re breaking it down in our latest blog > https://southerneventsonline.com/?p=17775

Whimsy doesn't have to be loud....

This one worked because nothing matched perfectly — and that was the point. Floral linens next to satin, wildflower stems tucked into cylinder vases, a color palette that felt collected rather than coordinated. The kind of wedding that looks effortless and definitely wasn't. 🌸

Long tables have a way of making people stay.

This outdoor setup at @ediblenashtn kept it simple — sage floral plates, beaded glassware, fresh air. But it's the format that does the work. One long table changes how guests interact, how conversations move, and how an event actually feels to be at. 🌿

Warm tones just feel good to sit in.

Olive, taupe, a little gold to catch the light. Nothing too polished, nothing too rustic. Just that in-between that feels relaxed but still pulled together 🥰

This one doesn’t whisper, and that’s the point 🌸🌼

Blue and white, bright florals, patterned linens, and just enough detail to keep your eye moving the whole time. Gatsby coupe glassware, beaded chargers, little moments everywhere you look. It’s playful, but still pulled together.
