We adore dressing fabulous Nashville area venues in Southern Events rentals, and Long Hollow Gardens is one of our absolute favorites. Long Hollow Gardens is a super unique event venue. It is actually a greenhouse! Couples can achieve that “outdoor wedding” feel with all of the comfort of remaining indoors (think gorgeous summer wedding without all the heat!). Oh, and don’t forget about the exquisite natural light pouring into the venue. On this 35 acre property, you’ll find a vineyard, their Farmhouse Bridal Cottage, and Hearthroom Barn. With enough space for 200 guests, it’s a great venue for weddings and events of all sizes.

Our neutral, natural rentals really shine at Long Hollow Gardens. The Cross-Back Chairs look tailor-made for this venue and are incredibly inviting paired with ivory linens. When outfitting the Greenhouse, we typically stick to neutral color palettes in order to let nature shine. From the Bennett Leather Sofa to the Fruitwood Farm Table, many of our rentals look as if they belong at this one-of-a-kind venue. However, we are not opposed to dreaming up a colorful look with our Saylor Velvet Furniture rentals. We are in love with how this location serves as a backdrop for pretty much any dreamy look a couple could conjure up.

Nashville Baby Guide Launch ~ The Lodge in Franklin

Kid-friendly spaces at events help children feel special while allowing for overall seamless event design. When creating and designing events for clients, we see no reason why the little ones can’t also have adorable areas to sit and eat! From whimsical pink and white chairs to adorably sophisticated cross-back chairs and beyond, we believe matching the kid areas with the rest of the event is a wonderful way to say “ultimate chic”. We recently created a few kid-approved looks for the Nashville Baby Guide Launch Party. If you’re here for sweet pink, charming blue, and trendy flamingos, then you’re in the right place! Pairing our Pink Chiavari Children’s Chair with our classy Fruitwood Children’s Farm Table, we designed inviting spaces for kids to enjoy oops-free meals on our Melamine Dinnerware. The kids’ areas coordinated beautifully with sophisticated adult areas. Hob Nob Glassware and Fuschia Etched Velvet Linens helped hold the playful vibe while staying “grown-up” and chic.

City Winery in Nashville, TN is a wedding & event venue offering downtown vibes, urban feels, and a completely blank canvas to create exactly the theme you’re wanting for your next event. The venue’s passion to pair culinary and cultural experiences in a unique way makes it a wonderful place to hold private events. Southern Events has loved being part of several of them. Pastels are a growing trend in event design this year. If you watched the Oscars, you know it (we are still swooning over Maya Rudolph’s glorious pink gown – among other amazing looks). Pastels were everywhere. Bonus: This trend incorporates itself beautifully in weddings and events. You can make this color scheme work with whichever various themes you’re going for. Classic? Of course. How about “garden charm”, or Southern, or “rustic glam”… yep, you can do that, too! 2019’s Pantone Color of the Year is Living Coral, and we have all the heart-eyes for this color! There are tons of ways to go about incorporating Living Coral: sweet, feminine, classy, Southern…the ideas go on and on. Here, we are in love with how the spunky color combination of teal and coral can evoke both glam as well as fun vibes. If you’re looking to incorporate 2019’s Pantone Color of the Year – Living Coral – we think this is a fabulous way to do it. We adore how the color pops up in a myriad of ways at this Spring Tasting Event at CJs off the Square (even down to the adorable cocktail).

This glam and fun theme incorporates gold, mismatched and detailed dinnerware, and our swoon-worthy Farrah Teal Velvet Chair. The teal color woven through the theme takes the coral to a new level. The Tessa Tufted Beige Loveseat just had to be part of this look, with the glam and fun lines on the piece calling out to be included in this Coral shin-dig.

Poppies and other coral floral designs–along with coral linens–accented the event, assisting the teal and coral theme in adding to the glam and fun vibes.

Boho is trending as a wedding theme for 2019. We love seeing it an all forms, especially as Boho Modern! One of our favorite things about this wedding theme is its versatility. Boho can be personalized in a myriad of ways. Some wedding couples shoot for a boho theme that is super laid-back and colorful. Others vibe with a boho theme that is more minimal. We are here for all of it!

In this Spring Tasting Event at CJs off the Square, we created a series of looks that we are currently still swooning over. We love the look featured here, a Boho Modern theme. Equal parts whimsical, down-to-earth, and modern – all at once. A gold, clear, black, and blush combination — paired with slightly mismatched chairs — is what gives us the whimsy. Linens, perfectly draped, in cream and grey, along with florals, and cafe lights, give us an easy, down-to-earth feel. Finally, accents of gold metal, glass, and acrylic are brought in to give us that modern wedding theme.

Graduation party season is upon us! It’s sentimental, nostalgic, and cheerful… all at once. As you get ready to plan a graduation party for your senior, there’s a lot to consider. Will it be outside? How many people will you invite? Set the Scene

First, let’s set the scene. If your graduation party is going to be outside, consider one of our Tent Pop-Up Packages. Farmhouse-inspired weddings and events are very of-the-moment, and for good reason! This trend is classic, fresh, and uber-relaxed. Perfect for a gathering of friends and family that is down to earth (literally) while being effortlessly stylish.

We partnered with the Gifford Collective at Meadow Hill Farms, where we used some of our favorite neutral rentals to bring this Southern Farmhouse look to life. The tablescape features our Sophia Flatware, Artisan Dinner Plates and Artisan Dessert Plates, Madison Glasses, and Havana Ecru Napkins.  Fresh bread wrapped in butcher paper serves as place cards (love!), while cream, greenery & silver accents atop a Farm Table, paired with our Cross-Back Chairs, created an elegant and approachable Southern Farmhouse table.  The ivory and handpainted wedding cake sits on our Fruitwood Round Cake Plateau as a tempting finish to the delicious meal one can imagine enjoying here.
