Southern Events Party Rental Company is a locally loved party rental company based in Franklin, TN. We’re known for our stylish inventory, personalized service, and happy clients. Our team is fun, hardworking, and all about making life’s big moments unforgettable.

We’re on the hunt for an Event Assistant who’s organized, energetic, and ready to jump into the fast-paced world of events. This is a great opportunity for someone fresh out of school or new to the workforce who wants to learn the ropes of sales, events, and office support in a dynamic small business setting.

Hours & Pay:
  • Full-time (approx. 40 hours/week)
  • Monday – Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM at our Franklin, TN office
  • Occasional weekend hours during peak seasons
  • Competitive hourly pay + potential for growth and future benefits

 

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Welcoming and assisting clients in our showroom and over the phone
  • Helping the sales team prepare rental quotes and manage event details
  • Keeping client records and rental orders organized in our system (we’ll train you!)
  • Communicating between the sales and warehouse teams to keep events running smoothly
  • Keeping the office and showroom neat, stocked, and looking great
  • Pitching in on admin tasks, marketing projects, and event prep as needed

 

Who We’re Looking For:
  • Friendly, upbeat, and great with people
  • Detail-oriented and organized (you like a good checklist)
  • A clear communicator—both in person and via email
  • Comfortable juggling tasks and staying calm under pressure
  • Bonus points if you’ve worked in retail, events, admin, or customer service—but it’s not required

 

Must-Haves:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Confident using a computer 
  • Willing to learn new software
  • Able to pass a background check
