This luxe outdoor wedding at a private Tennessee home is a fairy tale come to life, full of rustic textures and opulent details. With expert design planning by Sara Fried of Fête Nashville, we selected a mix of our best-loved rentals and newest pieces for a sophisticated, woodsy style. Guests dined at our Grayson Farm Tables and Crossback Chairs, with lace runners, Fruitwood Chargers, Artisan China, Hemstitch Napkins, and Abbey Fine Silver Flatware for an upscale place setting. Lush floral garlands and candles by Enchanted Florist add romantic ambiance to complete the look. All in all, a truly gorgeous affair for our bride and groom, Memree + Rich!

The Grand Opening at Sycamore Farms was a smashing success, and Team Southern truly went all-out to show off how fab this venue can look. Located in Arrington, Sycamore Farms is the perfect space to mix modern and vintage pieces for a luxe, upscale style.
For the dining area we pulled out all the stops with our newest pieces. Our Grayson Farm Tables created a sleek, modern slate, while our new Darcy Bone China paired with our Russet Matte Satin Napkins and Austin Gold Flatware made a chic and sophisticated place setting. Guests were invited to relax at one of several lounge scenes, featuring our London Grey Tweed Loveseat, Tessa Tufted Loveseat, Santorini Couch, Mykonos Coffee Tables and a mix of our vintage chairs. Refreshments were served from our Antique White Franklin Bar and Whiskey Barrel Bar. The whole event was truly gorgeous, and we’re so excited to partner with Sycamore Farms for more stunning events in the future!

Is there a more perfect space to hold a vintage styled shoot than the nearly 200-year-old Homestead Manor in Franklin, Tennessee? The historic estate-turned-beautiful venue set the scene for a southern gothic styled shoot with SheHeWe Photography. A mix of our classic favorites and newer rentals completed the look. We paired our Grayson Farm Tables with our vintage Constance Chairs for an upscale antique tablescape. For the place settings, we mixed our Artisan China and Hamlet & Ophelia Gold-Rimmed China Collections. Our Austin Gold flatware added a modern touch to keep the look from feeling dated. Our Grey Goose Linen Runner and Iridescent Ivory Luxe Designer napkins added luxe texture. Our model couple relaxed on our Santorini Love Seat paired with our vintage Francis Coffee Table for an upscale outdoor lounge. Our Emilie Secretary Desk created a sweet sign-in table at the ceremony, where we used our Crossback Chairs for seating.

Southern Events was delighted to contribute to the 43rd annual Heritage Ball at the Eastern Flank Battlefield Park in Franklin this September. The Heritage Ball is the historic city’s longest-running black-tie event, and underscores the Heritage Foundation‘s efforts to preserve the architectural, geographic and cultural heritage of Franklin and Williamson County. The theme for this year’s gala came from a visit by the event chair to NYC – she was inspired by the simple refinement of an upscale New York restaurant. A monochromatic color palette of white & gray mixed with metallic accents and architectural decor created an elegantly chic space to raise funds and celebrate for the 700 plus guests in attendance.
The event featured a wide range of inventory items including our Mercer Lounge Furniture, Ghost Chairs & Barstools, Gold & Nickel Grey Velour Benches, London Loveseat, Eiffel Chairs, Conga Gold Drum Side Tables, Black Franklin Bars, White Silver Leaf & Granite Grey Shantung Linens, Darcy Bone China, Abby Flatware, Madison Glassware, Gold Chiavari Chairs, and both our Black & White Dance Floor as ell as our New England Plank Dance Floor.

Gold Side Tables: Gold side tables are a must to any modern or boho lounge. Our Fitzgerald side table is a small pedestal table perfect for a lounge and features a matte gold finish. Additionally, our Gold Drum Side Table is a open barrel design available in two sizes, also with a matte gold finish (rain drops optional!).
Metal Accent Pieces: Available as a sphere or intersected cube, these metal accents pieces feature a gold brushed finish. We love them as an alternative to a lantern or hurricane vase with candle on guests tables. They would also be easy to hang these as part of a ceremony backdrop or over a dance floor. These pieces work well alone, mixed ans match as well as combined with florals, lighting or candles when used as a centerpieces.

Outdoor parties in the South always have two things – snifters of bourbon and the waft of cigar smoke. A bourbon + cigar bar is a fun trend to incorporate into a bachelor’s bash, corporate reception, or birthday party but it can also be the theme of your event. Dapper dudes can celebrate the occasion in a relaxed vintage lounge, using a mix of urban lounge furniture, antique seating, recycled glassware, bistro napkins, and tan linens – all with a decidedly masculine feel.

We’re swooning over this styled shoot we did at Trinity View Farm last fall, in partnership with Firefly Events! The rustic, organic style with upscale details is lovely inspiration for this year’s outdoor weddings. The neutral palette works for spring or fall, or any time in between. Our White-Washed Farm Tables create a clean slate for two different tablescapes, in this styled shoot. One features a mix of our Hamlet and Ophelia Gold-Rimmed China, Gold Chargers, and Austin Gold Flatware for a more formal style. The second one features our Artisan China and Abbey Fine Silverware for a more rustic, yet sophisticated look. For seating we paired our Crossback Chairs with our vintage Constance Chairs. We also created a lounge using our new Millie Couch, Conrad Coffee Table and Shelly Side Table. Thanks to our fellow “friendors” for their outstanding work, including Beyond Details, Dulce Desserts, and Designs in Paper.
