Our most recent corporate event transformed Nashville City Winery‘s concert and event space into a sleek and sophisticated space for networking over cocktails and dinner. The open house utilized a variety of our comfortable seating options, including the Rhapsody in Blue Side Chairs, our Nickel Grey Bench with acrylic legs, and Ghost Arm Chairs with plush pillows for a stylish lounge area. Seating was accented by our white and chrome Mykonos Coffee Table and chrome Cece Silver Side Tables, keeping the style sleek and sophisticated.

Our new White Leather Mercer Tower with L-Shaped Benches were highlighted and with good reason.  The “L” Tower is powered, meaning it can be used as a charging station for guests! Busy professionals, who come to corporate events with work still on their minds, love this feature. And giving guests an extra charge surely showcases Southern hospitality – who doesn’t appreciate a central spot to charge their phone?

City Winery has tables and chairs of its own so we create a few inspiration tables for guests These paired the ever-popular Grayson Farm Tables with Chiffon Runners and the new Harlin Dining Chairs for a sleek and Southern design. Gold Austin Flatware was placed next to Glass Chargers with Gold Rim, along with our Darcy White China dinner plates and our new Gold Accent China Plates in Coronado and Laguna designs.

Floral Printed Dance Floor

An inspirational dance floor really elevates the entire look of an event – when the design is coordinated from top to literally bottom, it stands out in a marvelous way! The new Floral Printed Dance Floor features oversize prints in various corners of the dance floor. Peonies in a barely-there pink are featured, allows the elegance to carry over from dinner to dancing. We loved it at the Heritage Ball 2017 as an entry into the main space – the striking and romantic design had guests swooning!

Southern Events was honored to be invited back to the Heritage Ball at the Eastern Flank Battlefield Park in Franklin this September. The Heritage Ball plays a proud part in the preservation of historic Downtown Franklin, and is the longest-running annual event in local history! This year’s lavish ball featured several of our rentals, styled to add an ornate old-world elegance to this Southern tradition.

Most popular rentals, like the Cross-Back Chairs and our London Loveseats, were combined with brand new pieces like our Cecilia Floral Matte Satin Linens and Winstead Gray Tufted Bench for a romantic black-tie affair. Our large selection of furniture created several lounge areas designed to enhance conversation by producing pockets of comfortable seating throughout the venue.

Guests were teased of the romantic vision to come with a lounge featuring our Santorini Couch, Rose Pillows, black flooring with floral details and potted trees in the entry.  Looking up, chandeliers with lush garland enhanced the old-world romantic affair. A variety of lounge areas were situated throughout the perimeters of the space, mixing comfortable couches, vintage chairs, and stylish loveseats with sleek and modern side tables for an ornate design. Guests were welcome to grab a drink at one of the many 8 ft Franklin Bars – each accented by a matching mini 4 ft bar topped with a lush centerpiece.

Guests dined in comfort in our artisan Harlin Dining Chairs, which we paired with our architecturally striking Cross-Back Chairs for added texture. Our new Cecilia Floral Matte Satin Linen and Blush Satin Linen draped gracefully amongst cocktail rounds, while Charcoal Dupioni Satin, Wisteria Matte Satin and Russet Satin Linens were used on dining tables for a uniquely elegant color palette. Attendees were treated to a stunning tablescape with modern elegance and lavish heirloom details thanks to our Austin Flatware, Darcy China, and Medallion Gold Glass Chargers, paired with our striking Pure Glassware. After dinner, guests danced the night away on our Plank Wood Dance Floor.

This stunning event was a dream to bring together, and the reality was more beautiful than we could have imagined. Many, many thanks to the Heritage Society, gala chair, event staff and all of those who came together to celebrate Franklin’s history and future! Shannon and Tom are two wonderful New Yorkers who wanted to throw a larger-than-life Southern picnic wedding. Their whimsical day was held at Green Door Gourmet, a working farm in West Nashville. For the ceremony, family and friends were invited to have a seat in our White Folding Chairs while the newlyweds exchanged vows under the Cedar Arbor. Guests were then treated to a cocktail hour with our Bistro Tables draped and tied with a Slate Poly linen.

For the reception, this grand soiree with a large guest list took advantage of the duel-level barn seating with round tables upstairs and rectangular tables on the main level. The Slate Blue was carried into the reception, accented by a Red and White Check Napkin, creating a whimsical nod to the farm venue. The newlyweds sat amongst their guests in Cross-Back Chairs and enjoyed their first meal as Mr. and Mrs. with our Cameron Flatware.

Thanks to the ladies at Modern Vintage Events for pulling all the fun details together. The wedding design delighted not only the newlyweds and their guests, as Shannon and Tom’s big day was featured on Style Me Pretty! Such a fun and upscale take on a farm wedding. We are always so excited to be a part of A Very Marry Occasion, where Nashville’s top wedding vendors come together for a truly stunning style showcase. The theme was Organic Luxe and CJ’s Off the Square was the perfect venue – the outdoor garden space lends itself perfectly to being both organic and luxe with ease! Here’s how we made it all happen:

Cross-back Chairs in natural wood were paired with the Grayson Farm Tables for a stunning dining design. To add more luxe, our Hob Nob Glassware collection was on full display with both the water goblet and the wine glass giving a vintage vibe without being too whimsical. All this combined with our Abby Fine Silver flatware and a gorgeous Mediterranean Satin Linen made for a stunning styled tablescape, only to be enhanced even more by the stunning floral centerpieces by Enchanted Florist – swoon!

To mix up the seating arrangements, our 65″ Round Farm Table was incorporated into the floor plan, opposite of the sweetheart table. Speaking of the sweetheart table, a mini White-Wash Farm Table was used with our Tessa Tufted Loveseat – the perfect way for a bride and groom to enjoy their first married meal together. Our feminine Darcy Bone China next to the Hob Knob glassware and Gatsby Champagne Coupe were the perfect touches to the tablescape, adding more elegance to an already luxe design.

In the garden area, we incorporated the Farm Style Bistro Tables for easy but stylish mingling. We love when couples opt to keep the decor all in the family – the various farm style tables are beautiful together, yet purposefully unique enough to not look too uniform.

Also in the garden, we made sure to provide comfortable outdoor seating by bringing in our Sutton Furniture Collection. The Mediterranean color was the perfect way to tie in those blue linens on the dining table, keeping every part of the decor and theme beautifully cohesive. The Enchanted Florist helped elevate our rentals again by placing thoughtful low arrangements on the furniture, bringing out the colors of the gorgeous garden and the Organic Luxe theme itself.
