Position Title: Event Consultant, full-time

 

Southern Events Party Rental Company is known for our distinct rentals and personalized service. We are seeking a full-time Event Consultant to join our team. This is a non-exempt position working 40 – 50 hours per week in our Franklin, TN office.  We offer competitive compensation with benefits and opportunities for growth.

 

We are looking for someone who:

  • College Graduate with at least 2 years of sales, marketing or event management.
  • Strong sales skills and a passion for company growth.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Positive, helpful, and cheerful personality.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Superior customer service and communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects, and follow through.
  • Adaptable and able to work with all types of people, in a variety of situations.

 

Position Tasks & Activities:

  • Event Sales & Order Management: Meet clients, write proposals, manage event details, enter and update orders, collect payments.
  • Customer Service: Greet clients warmly, support them through planning, handle correspondence, resolve complaints, follow up, and make clients feel special.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to foster long-term partnerships through attending industry events, visiting venues, social media, etc
  • Additional sales and marketing duties as needed.
